Dr. Riad S. Aisami is Professor Emeritus of Instructional Technology and Global Leadership, an author and global affairs analyst, and founder and president of the Global Institute for Digital Education (GIDE).

 

Across more than four decades in higher education and workforce development, he has advanced practical approaches to digital learning and developed the 5D Model for planning, teaching, and evaluating online courses.

 

His books, articles, videos, and public commentary examine U.S.–Middle East relations and wider shifts in global power. His work connects education, digital innovation, and international affairs to help audiences understand today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s opportunities.
